Doug Combs M.D.

Dr. Combs was born and raised in Xenia, Ohio.  He grew up on a small farm where his parents still live.  He attended medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.  Dr. Combs describes medicine as “A calling to help people, not just a job.”  His residency training was completed in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dr. Combs pursued obstetrics and gynecology because he can develop a relationship with his patients, deliver babies and perform surgery.  He has resided in Southern Illinois for seven years.  He is married and has a six-year-old daughter.  In his free time, he loves to barbecue, travel and read.
